How it works The eight drivers on the F1 Model 812 Flexible Array loudspeaker are mounted on a specially designed flexible baffle. Simply push or pull the array into position to create four vertical coverage patterns: “Straight,” ”J,” “Reverse J” or “C.” Once set, the system automatically changes the EQ to maintain optimum tonal balance for each unique coverage pattern. For extended bass The F1 Subwoofer adds deeper, more commanding bass to your performance. Its two 10-inch high-excursion drivers pack all the power of a larger bass box into a more compact design that’s easier to carry and fits in a car. A mounting stand for the loudspeaker is integrated right into the body of the subwoofer, so you always know where it is, making setup fast and easy. The stand even includes cable channels to neatly hide the wires. The loudspeaker and subwoofer each have 1,000 watts of power, so you can fill nearly any venue with sound. Additional features include a polarity switch (NORM and REV) for easy correction of low-frequency overlap between the main loudspeaker and subwoofer, and line output EQ (high-pass filter or full-range settings) for easy crossover selection when used with a main loudspeaker. Lifestyle of a bass head · 6 months ago "Big Concert Sound" is right My shipment of F1s has arrived. Precision build quality with super high quality, hand picked materials. Even the knobs are butter smooth. I am typically the type of person to push the volume to the limit, but I haven't been able to get the "limit" light to come on. The sound is huge; similar to the L1 family of products but with a differently engineered sound that outperforms the high power speakers from other manufacturers in: sound, weight, size and looks. The F1 Model 812 delivered natural, lifelike sound with a much bigger force than anyone could expect from a speaker of this size. Even outside in open air the system sounds like it should be coming from a much larger speaker array, like those big hanging arrays you see at Bassnectar concerts. I haven't had these for long. I will post a full review once they have been properly auditioned. BOSE speaker owner · 8 months ago Great speakers I recently purchased 2 sets of these powered speakers (2ea. F1-812 & 2ea. F1 subwoofers) & used them only twice so far & what great speakers they are. I kept both the 812 & F1 sub speaker amp volume at half way and half way volume on my Peavey 16 channel mixer mains, at 2 different parties in a 300+ people hall & for 2 live bands & had more than enough sound to cover the entire crowd. With clean / clear & low end sounds which was so awesome & satisfying, & the people were so amazed as well as the bands that played there. Great speakers!
